An International Congress entitled “Sub Regula Augustini: The Encounter with Culture on the Horizon of the City of God of St. Augustine” was held in Rome from November 18 to November 22.  The event, held at the Pontificium Institutum Augustinianum  opened with a welcome speach by the Prior General of the Order of Saint Augustine, Fr Alejandro Moral Anton OSA , who highlighted the importance of the Rule of Saint Augustine

On November 6, the Augustinian Family celebrates the remembrance of the departed Augustinian brethren. On  the day, at 10am the Prior Provincial, together with several friars, celebrated a mass at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery commemorating the deceased friars. After mass, those present proceded to the Provincial graves to paid their respects and bless the tombs. These days the Prior Provincial will then visit the tombs of the friars in

A new Safeguarding Policy was published in an activity held  on the 5th of November in Imdina and presided over by the Bishops of  Malta and Gozo, and the President of the Conference for Major Superiors representing the Provincials of the various Religious Congregations, who were also present. The new policy, establish renewed safeguarding standards that all Church entities are expected to uphold, and formalize proper safeguarding structures for handling
