On Wednesday 8 January Cardinal Grech’s corpse arrived in Malta. The funeral cortege started at 4.30 to Birgu where he was born and baptised. In the afternoon of Monday 30 December 2019 His Eminence Cardinal Prospero Grech, an Augustinian, was called to eternal rest to join our Father in heaven. Cardinal Grech had just attained the venerable age of 94 years on Christmas eve. That same day he con-celebrated midnight Mass presided by His Holiness Pope Francis at St. Peters’ Basilica. On Saturday 28th December, students from Tagaste Vok Club spent some time together beginning with a moment of prayer, a film and a Christmas Party. Since it was a nice day, they played some football as well! It was a nice moment for all those who participated.
