Through a simple yet heartfelt activity called “Plate of Rice for the Mission”, the students and educators of St. Augustine College raised the generous sum of €1,750. With a small donation, a serving of plain white rice and chickpeas, they came together to contribute to the Augustinian mission work in Peru.
This amount will be a great support for the missionary work that a group of young people, along with Fr. Mario Abela OSA and Fr. Terence Spiteri OSA, will carry out this summer in Peru. The funds will go toward a water well project in Nauta (Peru), where many families still lack access to clean water.
Thanks to this beautiful gesture, we can continue building hope together – step by step – toward a better life for those most in need.
