Fr Ambrose Delia is today celebrating the 60th anniversary of his Priestly Ordination. Along these years Fr Ambrose assumed various responsabilities in the Province and served the faithfull with so much in dedication in various realities. Fr Ambrose was born in Zebbug in 1938 and joined the Augustinian family in 1953. After completing his studies in Malta and in Rome, he was ordained Priest on the 17th of December 1960.

A new statue of our Lady Mother of God was inaugurated last Sunday, 1st November, at St Martin’s Church in Baħrija. The Statue was blessed by the rector, Fr Raymond Francalanza O.S.A. during the 9am mass. On Wednesday 18th December, The Augustinian Cloister Foundation organized a Christmas Concert featuring students from the Malta School of Music. This concert was preceded by some mulled wine and mince pies in the historical convent.

A Christmas Choral concert was held on 7 December at St Mark’s Church. The St Paul Choral Society participated in this well-attended concert.  Readings from St Augustine were also read out during the wonderful evening. Afterwards mulled wine and home-made mince-pies were served in the Augustinian Cloister. This was organised by the Augustinian Cloister Foundation as part of the encounters with culture events.
