During the last weekend of September, the Tagaste Youths group organized a special live-in weekend for its members. The live-in, themed “Anchored in Hope,” offered an experience of faith and friendship, allowing participants to take a break from the fast pace of everyday life to reflect, learn, and strengthen their relationship with God and with one another.
Throughout the weekend, the youths took part in interactive activities, moments of prayer, and group reflections that helped them explore how to be bearers of hope in today’s world. Times of sharing personal experiences and working together in teams provided opportunities for everyone to discover how they can be a light and a source of comfort to those in need.
The days were filled with joy, music, and community spirit, confirming how beautiful it is when young people come together in friendship and love for God. The central message that emerged from this experience was clear: even in moments of challenge or uncertainty, faith gives us the anchor that keeps us steady in the Lord’s hope.
The Tagaste Youths meet every Monday evening at the Tagaste Convent in Pietà, and every young person who wishes to grow closer to God, discover their gifts, and deepen their faith is warmly invited to join the group.
