What does being an Augustinian mean to you?

I think the most beautiful thing I cherish most is that I can share my life journey and pastoral work in the Church with my friends…not alone!

The Augustinian Charism in today’s world

I believe that the greatest service we can offer as Augustinians, is to be builders of communities…and to walk with every person…also in their questions. We should not have to be quick to give answers…questions have a certain rhythm in themselves…they are kept in ourselves and bear fruit over time. This was after all Augustine’s experience!

Who is the Augustinian for you?

To me, the real Augustinian is the man who knows he has not yet arrived….who himself is making a journey. Above all, to me an Augustinian religious is a man deeply ingrained in God, in life, in freedom and in love. In the depths of my heart I would like me to be like a woman who is ‘pregnant’…it is such a wonderful image..to be ‘pregnant’…with God…‘pregnant’ with light. And the joy! This is what I am also very excited about.
