What does being an Augustinian mean to you?

I feel that what makes me Augustinian is the way I live my daily life in the light of the Word of God manifested within a community that embraces a particular lifestyle – fraternity. You try every day to live this reality, grow in it and engage in the work that the common life demands of you.

The Augustinian Charism in today’s world

Perhaps today more than ever, living a particular call is challenging, even if in reality it is not so complex.  Discovering yourself and growing first and foremost as a person, in life together with your brothers and sisters in the community and expressing what you are and what you have grown up in the work and ministry you carry out, is in my opinion the pivot of the Augustinian life.

Who is the Augustinian for you?

The Augustinian is the man who every day, with God’s help, discovers the beauty of life and the beauty in the hearts of the brothers and sisters with whom he lives his life, his work and all that he is.  And maybe this is a not an insignificant challenge in itself…..but what is life without challenges?  May this challenge of life continue to be lived with enthusiasm and courage.
