From the 24th till the 26th of July of this year, the group Augustinian Youths organised a fruitful live-in with the theme “Made For More!”. This experience was particularly worthwhile as it focused principally on the integration of our young people who worked hard to organise various activities and sessions in relation to this theme. During this productive time of coming together, we felt the need not only to live, socialise and spend the day together, but also to grow, understand and love each other so that we can truly open up to others and realise our dreams together as a community of young people. The live-in was divided into a number of practical sessions that led to reflection and action on a personal, spiritual but also on a community level.
The ultimate goal was to let God work in ourselves by discovering more of who we are. Only then we can open up to others with love and joy. We are all grateful for this opportunity which consisted of many different activities including team building, prayers, cooking, celebration of the Eucharist, games, fitness, time for confession, swimming, sharing and time for reflection! How beautiful can the communion with one another be! But more than that, how amazing it is to see God working in the world around us, especially within those who are dearest to us!
