On Wednesday 28 August the Augustinian friars met in the morning for a moment of prayer in Saint Augustine Church, Valletta and afterwards they continued to celebrate the feast of Saint Augustine with a fraternal meal in the refectory of the same convent. It was an informal and beautiful moment in which the brothers could get together for the festivities of Santa Monica and Saint Augustine!

For this moment there was also the Prior General of the Discalced Augustinians together with 2 other religious who help him in the general council of this order, an Augustinian professed brother from Congo who was in Malta during the summer months to study English and a diocesan deacon from Vietnam who came to Malta for a few days to help in the parish of St Julians.
