On Wednesday, January 15, a Formation meeting was held for the Augustinian friars at The Santa Rita Priory, St. Julians. The meeting started with the evening prayers and continued with a session led by Mr Mark Pellicano, head of the Safeguarding Commission of the Church in Malta.
This moment served for the Augustinian friars to meet with Mr. Pellicano following the publication of the new Policy last November. At the Meeting Mr. Pellicano was able to present his work and the safeguarding structures, together with the policy that governs them. It was a moment in which the friars could even share their thoughts and questions while confirming the commitment in favor of safe environments that prevent any kind of abuse.
